Upon relocating to pursue his university studies, Isaac encountered significant difficulty in securing legitimate accommodation. In his search, he fell victim to fraudulent individuals posing as landlords — a painful and unfortunately common experience shared by thousands of South African students each year.
Determined to transform this negative experience into meaningful change, Isaac founded RainbowVista with a singular purpose: to ensure that no future student would have to endure the same ordeal.

By accessing or using the RainbowVista platform (rainbowvista.co.za), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the platform immediately. These terms apply to all users including students, landlords, and visitors.
RainbowVista is an online accommodation listing platform that connects students seeking housing with landlords offering accommodation. RainbowVista acts solely as an intermediary and is not a party to any rental agreement entered into between a student and a landlord. We do not own, manage, or control any listed property.
Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, compliance with South African landlord-tenant law, the condition and safety of their properties, and any rental agreements concluded with students. Landlords warrant that they are authorised to rent the listed property and that all information provided is truthful and accurate.
Students are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering any rental agreement. RainbowVista strongly recommends viewing any property in person, never paying a deposit without a signed lease agreement, and never transferring funds to an unverified account. RainbowVista cannot be held liable for any loss suffered as a result of transactions between students and landlords.
Users may not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; impersonate another person or entity; use the platform for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the operation or security of the platform. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate removal from the platform and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
RainbowVista charges landlords a monthly listing fee as per the selected plan. Fees are non-refundable once the listing has been reviewed and published. RainbowVista does not charge commission on any rental transactions. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days written notice to active subscribers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RainbowVista shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of this platform, including but not limited to rental disputes, financial loss, property damage, or personal injury.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

RainbowVista does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your contact details (name and WhatsApp number) are displayed on your listing to enable students to contact you directly. We may disclose information to law enforcement authorities if required by law or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our website is secured with SSL encryption (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to: access your personal information held by us, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, object to the processing of your information, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
